Our Color Run is a race where kids will learn how each color represents a part of the gospel story. Once the race begins, they will be running through bursts of colored powder which will turn their white t-shirts into a super fun color extravaganza.

Registeration for the Color Run is open to kids ages birth thru 6th grade. However, families are welcome to join their kids for this colorful, fun event!

Kids (and parents who participate) should wear a white t-shirt so they can fully experience the fun of all the colors throughout the race! Any white t-shirt is great, but if you would like an "I Love My Town" T-shirt please check out our store and order one. It's about a mile-long course, so comfy shoes & shorts as well. And don't worry, our color powder is non-toxic & will easily wash out of clothes.

Step one, brush it off. Step two wash the affected area. The colors are not permanent and not meant to stain, however if large concentrations are mixed with water the dyes can stain.

We encourage participants to wear sunglasses (not only will everyone look way more cool) but it will greatly reduce the chances of getting color powder in eyes. However, never fear, the color is non-toxic. A simple rinse with water will take care of you.

It's nontoxic, gluten-free, and the company we are getting the powder from uses FD&C and D&C approved ingredients. Wearing a gaiter will greatly reduce the powder getting in your mouth and/or breathing it in.

The Color Run will be held at the Oak Grove Baptist Church campus. We will run laps around the church property and have 5 color stations setup where they will be covered with colorful powder. 

You should wear comfortable clothing & shoes. If it's sunny, you may want to use sun screen too. 

Yes! The easiest way to get it off is while it’s still dry (shake, wiggle, jump up and down, vacuum, etc). After that, soap and water, with a little rinse and repeat action will do the trick.

Absolutely! We would love for you to bring friends. Be sure to tell them to register online as well!

Your kids are going to have a blast! And you can either walk/run the race with them or stand on the sidelines & help our volunteers cover the runners with color.
